2 Night Minimum Stay During the Summer Season

by Katie
(Norwood, MA)

Question: Are there any hotels located near Brewster MA that do not require a 2 night minimum stay during high summer season?

Dee's Reply:

Hi Katie -

That's a great question!

It can be challenging to find somewhere to stay on Cape Cod for just one night during the height of summer.

Mainly what you'll find for lodging in Brewster is B&Bs and inns, along with a great variety of vacation rentals for longer stays.

You asked specifically about hotels - and the only hotel-type lodging I can think of in Brewster is Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club.

Ocean Edge is a lovely former estate on Cape Cod Bay that has all different types of accommodations, including guest rooms.

I just made a quick call to Ocean Edge, and the lady at the reservation desk confirmed what I thought. They do have minimum stay requirements.

Since you didn't say if you'll be here on a weekend or during the week, I asked about single night stays mid-week.

She said that a single night might be available in a Guest Room during the week. But it all depends on when you're coming.

If you'll be here mid-week, then you might want to look at Ocean Edge. If their Guest Room accommodations meet your needs and fall within your lodging budget, then I'd suggest you call to confirm single-night availability and make your reservation as soon as possible.

Since you asked about hotels "near Brewster" ...

Have you looked into lodging in Orleans?

Orleans is right next door to Brewster, and it's an easy drive from Orleans to Brewster on Rt. 6A.

You'll have more hotel and motel choices in Orleans than in Brewster, and a better likelihood of finding a nice place to stay for a single night during the high summer season.

Orleans also has plenty of good restaurants from clam shacks to upscale eateries, and access to Atlantic Ocean and Cape Cod Bay beaches.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to post again!

Best Regards,

Dee
