Affiliate, Referral & Advertising Disclosure

In the spirit of full disclosure, I want to tell you about my affiliate, referral and advertising relationships.

What Are These Relationships?

In a nutshell: They're arrangements I've made with businesses and individuals who provide transportation, lodging, rental cars, activities, etc., on the Cape. I've agreed to showcase them on my Cape Days guide. In return, they've agreed to pay me a commission, referral or advertising fee.
How Much Do These Fees and Commissions Cost You?

Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada.

I'm paid by the businesses and individuals with whom I have the affiliate, referral or advertising relationship - not by you.

Your cost for anything you purchase stays the same, whether you buy through Cape Days or you buy directly from the business or their website.

Of course, I do hope you'll make your transportation, lodging, activity, etc. purchases through me. But you're more than welcome to bypass me and "buy direct", if you prefer.

How Do These Relationships Affect My Recommendations?

Simply put: They don't!

My integrity and the integrity of my Cape Days guide mean the world to me. If I wouldn't recommend a particular product, service, etc. to my best friend, I won't recommend it to you!

My Current Affiliate, Referral & Advertising Relationships

  • Throughout my Cape Days guide you'll see links and search boxes for TripAdvisor, HomeAway, and other third-party booking sites where you can find a great place to stay on the Cape at a reasonable price.

If you reserve using one of my links, I may receive a commission for the referral.

  • In other cases, I've entered into a referral arrangement with a vacation rental property owner/manager.

If you rent via my referral, the owner/manager will provide me with a commission as a way of saying thank you.

  • Likewise, if you buy something using any of my Amazon.com links or search boxes, Amazon will send me a small commission, too.
  • I also have Google Ads on some of my site pages, for which I receive payment. I have no control over the content of the ads that Google places on my pages. But I do hope you find them useful!
  • And finally, if you see a display ad for a local business or service on my Cape Days guide, it's likely a paid advertisement.

Questions About My Affiliate, Referral or Advertising Relationships?

If you'd like more information about any of these relationships, please feel free to contact me any time.

My sincere thanks for your support!

Dee
