Days Inn
A Hyannis MA Hotel for Frugal Travelers

* Days Inn Hyannis is Closed *

Days Inn in Hyannis closed in August 2014. The property is undergoing major re-construction to become a new Fairfield Inn & Suites. Re-opening was scheduled for spring 2015. But ... as of autumn 2015, it's still a work in progress.

I'll keep you posted ...

For good value and a convenient location, the Days Inn Hyannis hotel beats many fancier and much more expensive places, hands down.

Budget Friendly Days Inn Motel - Hyannis, MA

What sets this inexpensive Hyannis hotel apart from the others is its incredibly friendly, customer-oriented staff. Great service is the first thing travelers mention when asked what they liked best about staying at Days Inn.

Other "plus factors" to staying at Days Inn Hyannis hotel include:

  • Easy access to downtown Hyannis, to the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, and to a number of Hyannis beaches. They're only about a 5-10 minute drive or cab ride away.

  • Plenty of restaurant choices near the hotel - both the national chain type places like Olive Garden and Uno Chicago Bar & Grill, as well as some nice, reasonably priced local eateries such as BarbyAnn's and Cooke's Seafoods.

  • Convenience to all the major roadways for day trips to other Cape Cod towns.  Days Inn is only a few minutes off Route 6, the primary road that runs from one end of the Cape to the other. Routes 28 and 6A are within easy access, too.

The Accommodations

Clean, Comfortable Rooms at Days Inn

The rooms at the Days Inn are what you might call "standard issue". Not fancy ... but it's a pleasant, clean, and comfortable place to lay your head for an overnight business trip or a week's vacation at a very reasonable price.

The Amenities

Outdoor Pool

In addition to the seasonal outdoor pool, the hotel's amenities include an indoor pool, a small exercise area with basic work-out equipment, and wireless internet access. Complementary breakfast consists of cereals, muffins, donuts, bagels, juices, coffee and tea.

FYI: If you're hungry for more than just cereal and muffins, there's an IHOP (International House of Pancakes) just across the street from the hotel. And Hearth & Kettle - a very family friendly local restaurant with good home cookin' food - is about 2 minutes away by car.
