Timeshare Maintainance Fees

by Robert and Lynne

Question: We own 2 weeks at Sandcastle Resort.

We have not received a bill for our maintenance fee to this point. We received a newsletter which says dues are due by Jan. 1, 2012 and have a $50.00 late fee.

My question is how can bills be paid on time if we don't even know how much the fee will be?

Please contact us with the needed information asap.

Thank You,

Robert and Lynne

Hi Robert and Lynne -

I'm sorry I can't give you the information you're looking for.

My website is a Cape Cod travel guide. I'm not connected in any way with Sandcastle Resort in Provincetown.

However, to try to at least point you in the right direction for an answer to your question, I just called Sandcastle's main telephone number here on the Cape to see if I could get a name and direct number for someone you could speak with about your issue.

Unfortunately, Sandcastle is closed during the months of January and February, so I wasn't able to speak with anyone.

Perhaps in your ownership documents (or in the newsletter you received) there's a special phone number for owners to use to contact the timeshare offices during the off-season.

If you've already tried that without success, then I'd suggest you call Sandcastles Resort's primary local number - it's (508) 487-9300 - and leave a voicemail message for the Sales Department.

I expect someone will call you back, and if they can't help you directly, then they at least should be able to give you a contact number for a Sandcastle representative who can work with you to resolve your issue.

I hope this helps!

Best Regards,

Dee
