Welcome to Cape Days - a unique travel guide that'll help you, every step of the way, as you plan your perfect getaway to Cape Cod.

From that first, all-important decision about the best town to stay in, to finding discounts on everything from beach parking to food and lodging ...

Cape Days gives you the inside scoop, from a "local's" point of view!

Vacation Planning Basics

Hello! I'm Dee, your "friend on the ground" in beautiful Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

In my years on the Cape, first as an awe-struck tourist and now as a part-time resident, I've discovered lots of "local secrets" for enjoying everything that makes Cape Cod so special.

I've also discovered (thankfully!) that it doesn't take a barrel of money to experience the very best our little slice of paradise has to offer.

Believe me. When you have lots of out-of-town friends and family who all love coming to the Cape, you figure out pretty darn quickly how to show them the "real Cape Cod" - without breaking the budget ;-)

Don't Just Visit Cape Cod - Live It!

The best Cape Cod beach vacations begin with awesome waterfront accommodations.

Top choices range from incredibly inexpensive oceanfront camping to moderately priced hotels and vacation rentals only steps from the water's edge.

It's easy to see why the famous "Dr. Beach" regularly names Cape Cod on his Top 10 Beaches  list!  From toddlers to teens, singles to seniors, there's a perfect Cape Cod beach for every visitor.

Better still: you can visit most of our public beaches admission-free, year round. (Here's how ... )

Rest assured, you'll never lack for fun and interesting places to visit and things to do here on the Cape, no matter what time of year you visit.

Here are 22 Free Activities and Attractions to get you started ... and Special Events to round out your stay.

With the right discount passes and coupons in your pocket, you'll save a good chunk of change on area attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Whether you'll be visiting on a limited budget, or plan to go all-out for a special occasion getaway, I hope you'll find my personal insights, tips and money-saving strategies helpful as you plan your Cape Cod vacation.

Note: My site currently has nearly 200 pages, and it's continuing to grow.

And if, by chance, you can't find something you're looking for, please let me know!

I'd love to hear from you!

Dee
