Cape Cod Cranberry Day

This fun and tasty event celebrates the native cranberry so prominent in the history of Cape Cod. See cooking demonstrations using old-time cranberry recipes. Join a tour of the neighboring cranberry bog. Visit the small resident animals and walk the grounds and trails on a fine fall day.
In the gift shop, sample jams made on-site as they have been for over 100 years. Browse among a used book sale to benefit the Nature Center's in-house natural history library.
Homemade cranberry crisp, clam chowder and chili will be served from 11am to 2pm in the historic Jam Kitchen ($4 each).

The Town of Mashpee's Special Events Committee hosts its annual Oktoberfest, which begins with a 10K road race at 10 a.m. For the remainder of the day, the Mashpee's Town Green is the scene of a fall celebration with live entertainment, plenty of food, a beer garden, and children's activities like pumpkin decorating and face painting.
Pumpkin Day at Bourne Farm

Get into the swing of autumn at Bourne Farm. Pumpkin Day is a great family outing featuring hayrides, pony rides, arts and crafts, kayaks and paddle boats, face painting ... and plenty of pumpkins for the picking!
Yarmouth Seaside Festival

Columbus Day weekend means it’s time for the Yarmouth Seaside Festival. This annual three-day extravaganza has tons of fun activities for the whole family including a craft fair, kids rides and games, a one-of-a-kind haunted maze, 5K road race, canoe and kayak race, sand-sculpting contest, two parades, and a big fireworks display at Seagull Beach.
Taylor-Bray Farm's Fall Festival

Visit historic Taylor-Bray Farm for a wonderful day of autumn activities. Originally settled in 1639, the 22-acre farm will host all sorts of old-fashioned family fun including hayrides, games, hearth cooking, face painting, a free giant pumpkin raffle for the kids, live music, and refreshments.
Provincetown Dance Festival

The annual Provincetown Dance Festival brings two nights (Friday and Saturday) and a Sunday matinee performance to the Outer Cape. Each year, the performers showcase a wide range of dance styles from modern dance to flamenco, tap, and ballet.

Each year, OysterFest welcomes hundreds of locals and visitors from near and far for a celebration of the salty, succulent, world-renowned Wellfleet oyster. Fresh seafood is the star of the show, with fresh oysters, homemade chowder, and plenty of other delicacies purveyed in venues from the quaint town center to restaurants throughout town. Fest-goers of all ages will also enjoy arts and crafts, cooking demonstrations, nature walks and talks, live music, kids activities, and much more ... including the weekend's feature event - an oyster-shucking contest where competitors vie to win the $1000 first prize by properly shucking 24 oysters in the quickest time.
Cape Cod Marathon Running Weekend

Beginning and ending at the beautiful Village Green in Falmouth, the loop course takes runners along the shoreline, through farmlands and cranberry bogs, and past the imposing Nobska Light.
