Free Cape Cod Music
and Movies in the Park

Have you ever felt like you've been transported back in time?

When it's summer on Cape Cod and music is in the air, that's just how you'll feel when the band strikes up on the village green!

Couples dancing under the stars to a classic waltz or a tune straight out of the Big Band era.

Little kids playing with balloons and pinwheels on a stick, and getting in line to do the "Bunny Hop".

Everyone singing along to Broadway hits and patriotic favorites.

The "good old days" are alive and well on Cape Cod!

No matter where you're staying, you'll find a concert somewhere on the Cape nearly every night of the week in the summer.

Bring your folding chairs or a picnic blanket to spread out on the lawn, and come join us for the party ...

Movies in the Park - When and Where

During the summer months on Cape Cod, music isn't the only evening entertainment you'll find on the village green.

The Town of Falmouth takes evening fun to a whole new level with outdoor movies on the village green.

Yep. They set up a big screen in Peg Noonan Park, and show family favorites like The Sound of Music, Harry Potter, ET, The Rookie.

It's kind of like a drive-in movie ... only better. You're relaxing under the stars. Not packed into a car.

When: Every Wednesday, all summer, beginning at dusk

Where: Peg Noonan Park, Main Street, Falmouth, MA

Admission: Free

Parking Info: Depending on how early you want to go into town (for dinner at Liam Maguire's or take-out from Arties, maybe?), you might be able to find an on-street parking spot along Main Street. If not, the Library is on Main Street, too. We've never had a problem finding a parking spot there.

What to Bring: Folding chairs and/or a beach blanket. Your picnic basket or snack bag (no "adult beverages" allowed). And a sweater or jacket to slip into when the night air cools down.
