4th of July Fireworks Cruise
by Ann Marie
Question: I am staying in Mashpee and was wondering if there is a harbor cruise being offered for the 4th of July Fireworks closer than Provincetown?
Dee's Reply: Hi Ann Marie -
The only other 4th of July fireworks cruise I know of is one that's offered by Hyannis Whale Watcher Cruises.
On the 4th of July this year, they're offering a special cruise from Barnstable Harbor to Provincetown to see the fireworks. (There's no whale watching involved.)
Barnstable Harbor is much nearer to Mashpee than Provincetown, by a lot of miles!
This cruise is 3 hours long, leaving from the pier in Barnstable at about 8 p.m. and returning around 11 p.m.
Onboard the ship there's food (lobster rolls, salads, along with non-seafoody selections) and live entertainment. Tickets are $75 per person, and that includes everything except parking and your choice of beverages. There's a full bar onboard.
Advance reservations are required. To reserve, call (508) 362-6088.
I think this is the only other 4th of July fireworks cruise offered on the Cape, but I'm not 100% positive. So give me a day or two to do some checking around, and I'll let you know if I come across any others.
Best Regards,
Dee
