Are you up for a quick dip in the briney?
Don a funny costume, or brave it in your swimsuit. (Yikes!) Whatever your fashion choice of the day, you'll get a warm and fuzzy feeling taking a splash into the brisk Nantucket Sound water for such a good cause!
Not ready for outdoor swimming quite yet? Spectators are welcome to come cheer the polar plungers on!

If you're looking for something fun to do on a chilly Sunday afternoon, head out to the Salt Pond Visitors Center in Eastham for the Friends of the Cape Cod National Seashore's Winter Film Festival.
This month's film lineup is Gravity (February 2nd), The Theory of Everything (February 9th), Apollo 13 (February 16th) and The Heart of the Sea (February 23rd).
The movies are family friendly ... and free!

Dust off your favorite boots and head out to Cape Cod Beer for an evening of toe-tapping, kick-up-your-heels fun!
Never tried line dancing before? No problem! The evening starts with a lesson to get all newbies into the swing of things.

The Museum opens mid-month, just in time for school vacation week. Bring the young 'uns to learn about the animals that call the Cape their home. Other special February vacation events at Cape Cod Museum of Natural History include birdwatching, films, nature walks, and interactive presentations.

For avid boaters, this is one of the first Cape Cod events of the year to remind us that boating season will be here before we know it.

One of the premier Cape Cod events of the winter season, this weekend kicks off on Friday with a 5Km Fun Run. Saturday features the 10 Km run. And Sunday is the big day for the Hyannis Marathon, Half Marathon and Marathon Team Relay.
The Race Expo, cocktail and dinner parties, and the awards ceremonies round out the weekend's festivities.
